Record #77740:

Photogrammetric determination of surface altitude, terminus position, and ice velocity of Columbia Glacier, Alaska / Mark F. Meier, L.A. Rasmussen, R.M. Krimmel, R.W. Olsen, David Frank.

Title: Photogrammetric determination of surface altitude, terminus position, and ice velocity of Columbia Glacier, Alaska / Mark F. Meier, L.A. Rasmussen, R.M. Krimmel, R.W. Olsen, David Frank.
Author(s): Meier, Mark F.
Rasmussen, L. A.
Krimmel, R. M.
Olsen, R. W.
Frank, David.
Date: 1985.
Publisher: Washington, DC: US Government Printing Office
In: U.S. Geological Survey professional paper. (1985.), Vol. 1258-F (1985)
Abstract: Sixth in series of papers subtitled "Studies of Columbia Glacier, Alaska", describing various aspects of this glacier, thought to be in state of recession. Digital photogrammetric methods are used to determine how pattern of retreat, thinning, and flow changes through time, and how flow reacts to changes in terminus of this iceberg-calving glacier.
