| Abstract: | Reviews application of cosmogenic ¹⁰Be measurements in ice and polar atmospheres to: dating of ice cores, deduction of past accumulation rates, information on influx of stratospheric aerosols in polar regions, and mechanism of incorporation of aerosols into ice. At high latitudes, ¹⁰Be deposition rate in ice is more constant than ¹⁰Be concentration. |
