Record #77672:

Atmospheric particles: their physical and chemical characteristics, and deposition processes relevant to the chemical composition of glaciers / L.A. Barrie.

Title: Atmospheric particles: their physical and chemical characteristics, and deposition processes relevant to the chemical composition of glaciers / L.A. Barrie.
Author(s): Barrie, L. A.
Date: 1985.
Publisher: Cambridge: International Glaciological Society
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1985.), Vol. 7 (1985)
Abstract: Discusses man's contribution to total particle mass loading of atmosphere and reviews complex processes involved in deposition, wet deposition being dominant. Estimates of relative scavenging ratios for rimed snowfall and dry deposition velocities agree well with observations in southern Greenland.
