RADARSAT and MSAT: proposed Canadian satellite systems with hydrological applications / Barry E. Goodison, E.J. Langham, D. Athanassiadis.

Title: RADARSAT and MSAT: proposed Canadian satellite systems with hydrological applications / Barry E. Goodison, E.J. Langham, D. Athanassiadis.
Author(s): Goodison, Barry E.
Langham, E. J.
Athanassiadis, D.
Date: 1985.
Publisher: Wallingford, Oxfordshire: Institute of Hydrology, International Association of Hydrological Sciences Press
In: Hydrological Applications of Remote Sensing and Remote Data Transmission. Proceedings of a Symposium held during the 18th General Assembly of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics at Hamburg, FR Germany, August 1983. .... (1985.),
Abstract: Describes these two different systems: MSAT (mobile satellite) is geostationary communications satellite and RADARSAT is proposed polar-orbiting satellite carrying synthetic aperture radar as primary sensor and is of particular interest in sea-ice surveillance, hydrology and oceanography.
