Transition in preferred orientation of polycrystalline ice from repeated recrystallization / Maohuan Huang, M. Ohtomo, Gorow Wakahama.
Title: | Transition in preferred orientation of polycrystalline ice from repeated recrystallization / Maohuan Huang, M. Ohtomo, Gorow Wakahama. |
Author(s): | Huang, Maohuan. Ohtomo, M. Wakahama, Gorow. Huang, Mao-Huan. Ōtomo, M. Wakahama, Gorō. |
Date: | 1985. |
Publisher: | Cambridge: International Glaciological Society |
In: | Annals of Glaciology. (1985.), Vol. 6 (1985) |
Abstract: | Sample compressed in steps of 10% at constant low deformation rate at 272 K and annealed at same temperature, thus allowing recrystallization. Fabric pattern gradually changed, indicating that process is important in formation of preferred orientation of glacier ice. |
Notes: | Annals of Glaciology. Vol. 6 :263-264 (1985). |
