| Abstract: | Observation and analysis of daily photographs of southern hanging glacier of Mönch, Bernese Alps, Switzerland, from May to August 1982 and from November 1982 to September 1983. 62 avalanches were recorded and mapped, and volumes estimated. From these values, mass balance of glacier was determined. |
