Record #72305:

Ice-shelf densities from a comparison of radio echo and seismic soundings / Christopher S.M. Doake.

Title: Ice-shelf densities from a comparison of radio echo and seismic soundings / Christopher S.M. Doake.
Author(s): Doake, Christopher S. M.
Date: 1984.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1984.), (1984)
Abstract: Based on investigation of George VI Ice Shelf, Antarctic Peninsula, in January 1981. Because velocities of radio and seismic waves vary with ice density in different ways, accurate comparison of travel times from two methods allows average density of ice shelf to be calculated.
Notes:

Annals of Glaciology. :47-50 (1984).
