| Abstract: | Individual thicknesses of 1300 varves, dating from 230 to 1552 AD, from Lake Judesjön, Sweden, were measured to study short-term climatic changes. Cyclic variation of 30 to 40 years observed, depending on amount of organic material deposited due to changes in primary production of lake, caused, in turn, by amount of insolation. |
