Abstract: She (alias Olsen) came in 1932 to Fredrikshåb at Daugaard-Jensen's request, to be hospital nurse, although expected doctor was absent. She continued to work under many difficulties. TB was constant tragedy of Greenland life, and whole families were commonly struck. She aimed to learn Greenlandic for her work, but trainees hoping to continue in Denmark preferred to try Danish on her.
