| Abstract: | Aims were to study distribution and composition of sediments in fjords, distribution of sediment in northern Barents Sea, composition and transport of suspended material in Fram Strait and northern Barents Sea, especially off Nordaustlandet, and consolidation of marine clays under large glacier, Bråsvellbreen, Nordaustlandet. Also observations were made of lower boundary of ploughing by today's icebergs and of sea ice as transport mechanism for sediment. |
