Abstract: Results based on 1981-82 data. Liquid clouds occurred frequently during snowfall periods. Rime rates were ten times precipitation rates. Rime deposits were estimated to contribute 4 to 11% to water content of snowpack and to contribute up to 55% of trace element composition of snowpack.
