Kulttuurin vaikutuksesta Lohijärven seudun kasvillisuuteen / Raija Tikkanen.

Title: Kulttuurin vaikutuksesta Lohijärven seudun kasvillisuuteen / Raija Tikkanen.
Translated title: Effects of human culture on the vegetation around Lohijärvi.
Author(s): Tikkanen, Raija.
Date: 1978.
Language: Finnish.
In: Faravid. (1978.), Vol. 2 (1978)
Abstract: Pollen analysis aimed to find out influence of man, from c. 3500 BC. Neolothic hunting and fishing had little effect; first barley pollen at 65 cm depth, 1500 BC, may be stray, as little weed pollen of that date was found. Peak in non-arboreal pollen is towards end of birch-pine-spruce era. True culture phase is assumed to start in mid-18th Cent., with large numbers of barley and weed species.
