Möten mellan människor / Inger Zachrisson.

Title: Möten mellan människor / Inger Zachrisson.
Translated title: Peoples meet.
Author(s): Zachrisson, Inger.
Date: 1977.
Publisher: Stockholm: Statens historiska museum
Language: Swedish.
In: Möten i gränsland. Samer och germaner i Mellanskandinavien. (1977.), Vol. 10
Abstract: Cemetery of Krankmårtenhögen, Härjedalen, c.200 BC - 200 AD is seen as Saami from graves and ceremonials associated, especially elk, but also deer, antlers. Cemetery at Långön, Ångermanland, is also seen as Saami c. 1000 AD, with burial eventually taking over from cremation. Fur trade in squirrel and ermine was highly developed among Saami with peculiar technics and vocabulary. Bronze coins found in Swedish hunting grounds are probably from trade. "Finn tax" can be seen as commission system via "lord" who traded goods for furs.
