Interpretation of radio interferometry depth sounding, with emphasis on random scattering from temperate glaciers and the lunar surface / James Randell Rossiter.
Title: | Interpretation of radio interferometry depth sounding, with emphasis on random scattering from temperate glaciers and the lunar surface / James Randell Rossiter. |
Author(s): | Rossiter, James Randell. |
Date: | 1977. |
Publisher: | [n.p] : |
Abstract: | Data obtained at frequencies from 1 to 32 MHz from Athabasca Glacier, Alberta, Canada, and from Juneau Icefield, Alaska, from Apollo-17 site on Moon, from permafrost region in NWT, Canada, and from frozen lake in Ontario. In order to interpret these, studies were made in laboratory analogue scale model, operating at 5.9 GHz. |
Notes: | PhD thesis, University of Toronto. |
Keywords: | 551.321.61 -- Ice sounding, geophysical methods. 53.087.23 -- Remote sensing. 551.32 -- Glaciology. 043 -- Theses. E3 -- Glaciology: instruments and methods. |
