Abstract: Discusses climatic changes in recent years in relation to changes in climate of region since start of century. Deduces that intensification of oceanism that began in 1920's ended in 1960's. Large increase in precipitation then began. Author compared air temperature and precipitation in Hornsund with Isfjord Radio. Former agreed well, latter was very different. Article ends with comments on response of glaciers to conditions and their agreement with wider atmospheric circulation.
