Abstract: Third in series of reports on living standard of people of northern Canada, dealing with incomes of Eskimos who make up most of Keewatin District population. Uses results of 1969 Keewatin Manpower Survey to show that: Eskimo families in Keewatin doubled their average income in current dollars between 1964 and mid-1968, with distribution among families becoming more equal; Eskimos in Keewatin had lowest family income of Eskimo families in NWT; Eskimos' economic conditions in Keewatin were better than those of Indians in Mackenzie District, but worse than those of Métis and Whites; average family income in Keewatin was lower than both NWT and national averages.
