Record #46585:

Study of snowmelt runoff process in two representative watersheds with different elevation range / Jaroslav Martinec.

Title: Study of snowmelt runoff process in two representative watersheds with different elevation range / Jaroslav Martinec.
Author(s): Martinec, Jaroslav.
Date: [1970]
Publisher: Wallingford, Oxfordshire: Institute of Hydrology, IAHS Press
Abstract: Mountain watersheds in Czechoslovakia and Switzerland were selected to represent hydrological regimes which are substantially affected by snow accumulation in different conditions. Factors governing snowmelt runoff process are examined with regard to respective size, morphology, elevation and climatic conditions of both basins. Aim was to enable values of degree-day factor, recession coefficient and time of concentration to be applied to snowmelt-runoff studies and calculations in other areas of interest.
