| Abstract: | Scott Polar Research Institute Mark II VHF radio echo apparatus installed in aircraft for flying operations based on Tanquary Camp, 1966. During April, flights were made over glaciers and ice caps north of 80°, as reported briefly by Evans and Robin (Nature, Vol. 210, No. 5039, 1966, p.883-885). Analyzes results of these flights in detail. |
