Date: 1965.
Publisher: Luleå: Norrbottens Museum
In: Hunting and fishing. Nordic symposium on life in a traditional hunting and fishing milieu in prehistoric times and up to the present day. (1965.),
Abstract: Most scholars attribute these to Boat-Axe culture, with Pitted Ware group as alternative. Finds cover 150 km, once on coast. Raw material is from Denmark- Skåne, at least 1000 km away, and is dated to c. 2000 BC. Most axes are unfinished. Dispute is about whether flints came from trade or are relics of northward hunting expeditions. Sites had dwellings in addition.
