Record #40775:

Concentrations of common lead in Greenland snows / M. Murozumi, T.J. Chow, C. Patterson.

Title: Concentrations of common lead in Greenland snows / M. Murozumi, T.J. Chow, C. Patterson.
Author(s): Murozumi, M.
Chow, T. J.
Patterson, C.
Date: 1965.
Publisher: Narragansett: Narragansett Marine Laboratory, Graduate School of Oceanography, Rhode Island University
Abstract: Lead analyses performed using isotope dilution technique, and silica concentrations determined by emission spectrography of sodium chloride added to the water and recovered by evaporation. Results indicate very large increase in lead content of recent snow over that which fell six decades ago in region of North pole. Data confirm previous indications that industrial lead pollutants are pronounced, and occur on a hemispheric scale.
Notes:

Offprint: Symposium on Marine Geochemistry.
