Abstract: | Methods of velocity distribution and bottom mass exchange calculation for unsteady ice shelf are developed, based on continuity and hydrostatic equilibrium equations. Bottom melting rate of Ross Ice Shelf near Little America station is found to be 27.1 g cm⁻² a⁻¹. |
