| Abstract: | During the summers of 1957-1958, detailed glaciological and glacial-meteorological studies were made on Gilman Glacier and the adjoining icecap. Limited data were also obtained from the glacier in 1959. Significant differences in the glacial-meteorological conditions occurred in the three years; these differences were reflected in the amounts of ablation measured on the lower part of the glacier. |
