Abstract: A brief summary of gravity studies through the end of the IGY is given. Gravity research projects underway since the end of the IGY, including the study of subglacial geology, ice thickness between seismic stations, crustal warping, ice sheet mass balance, and tides and related glaciological and geodetic investigations, are reviewed with recommendations for future research.
