Record #35455:

Influence de la dynamique des fleuves de glace sur celle de l'Indlandsis du Groenland / Albert Bauer.

Title: Influence de la dynamique des fleuves de glace sur celle de l'Indlandsis du Groenland / Albert Bauer.
Translated title: Influence of ice movement of the dynamics of the Greenland ice cap.
Author(s): Bauer, Albert.
Date: 1961.
Publisher: Gentbrugge: Association Internationale d'Hydrographie Scientifique
Language: French.
In: International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics. International Association of Scientific Hydrology. General Assembly of Helsinki, 25-7 - 6-6, 1960. Snow and Ice Commission. (1961.),
Abstract: The Greenland ice cap flows out radially from its central accumulation zone by means of about 30 major "ice streams", and ice discharge in this form is more important factor than ablation in the mass balance of the ice cap. Detailed analysis given of Jakobshavns glacier, one of the outflow areas.
