| Abstract: | Observations on four Greenland glaciers during the IGY, to study the reactions of glaciers to different climatic conditions. Stations were established on the Hurlbut (77° 23'N. lat.), Sermikavsak (71° 11'N. lat.), Napassorssuaq (60° 18' N. lat.), and Mitdluagkat (65° 40'N. lat.) glaciers. These are simple form valley glaciers which do not extend to the sea. |
