| Abstract: | A scintillation counter mounted in a field radiometer served as the gamma-ray detector, and isotopic cobalt was used as the source. Calibration of the system is described. Failure of the experiment is due to the effect of electrified particles in polar snow and the dielectric nature of the glacial ice. |
