| Abstract: | Paper presented at meeting held on 28 April 1856, argues that current from Spitsbergen, which runs along the coast of East Greenland, does not travel in a straight line towards the banks of Newfoundland, but turns round Cape Farewell then northward and westward to meet current from Baffin Bay. |
