| Abstract: | Individual descriptions are given by the participating scientists of the work conducted during the British North Greenland Expedition, 1952-54. The descriptions include: the survey of Dronning Louise Land, meteorological studies, seismic investigations on inland ice, the gravity survey, medical aspects, physiological work, studies on mass balance of glaciers, ablation, glacial prehistory and geological and geomorphological work. The difficulties in publishing the results of the expedition are outlined, and a bibliography of scientific papers on the work of the expedition is included. |
