Author is physiologist with interest in vitamin content of Arctic plants and animal organs, including problem of why Polar bear liver is poisonous. He mentions blubber finger and nervous diseases common among Inuit, including "kayak fear" - nangiarneq. In 1952 he helped set up T-3 as meteorological station by air. A dozen scientists have used it over three years. Brief history of T-1 and T-2 is given.
