Abstract: Describes P-band interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) data at 5 m resolution from Kahiltna Glacier, Alaska. Observes pronounced variation in penetration depth between percolation and wet snow zones of accumulation area, and between upper and lower ablation areas. Attributes these to expected thermal regime of each zone with added influence of cold surface layer in upper ablation zone.
