Abstract: Presents modified technique for amplitude-versus-angle processing of glacial seismic data using forward modelling with primary reflection amplitudes and simulated multiple amplitudes. Describes use of this method in 2010 at Russell Glacier terminus, Greenland Ice Sheet, to confirm suspected presence of sediment beneath ice sheet rather than only bedrock, with implications for ice sheet dynamics.
