Scholars from Arctic countries generally agree that existing multi-faceted system works well, while scholars from Asian countries believe that existing governance set-up is inadequate and insufficient in context of future Asian involvement. Also summarises debate on whether future Arctic international politics will feature increasing cooperation or increasing conflict.
