Record #214302:
Water content estimates of a first-year sea-ice pressure ridge keel from surface-nuclear magnetic resonance tomography / André Nuber, and 6 others.
Title: | Water content estimates of a first-year sea-ice pressure ridge keel from surface-nuclear magnetic resonance tomography / André Nuber, and 6 others. |
Author(s): | Nuber, André. |
Date: | 2013. |
In: | Annals of Glaciology. (2013.), Vol. 54(64) (2013) |
Abstract: | Examines porosity of sea-ice pressure ridges using surface-nuclear magnetic resonance measurements made in 2011 across first-year pressure ridge on landfast sea ice near Barrow, Alaska, USA. Results suggest drillhole values of ridge porosities may overestimate sea ice volume. |
Notes: | Annals of Glaciology. Vol. 54(64) :33-43 (2013). |
