Record #214151:

Carbon dioxide and energy flux measurements in four northern-boreal ecosystems at Pallas / Mika Aurela, and 5 others.

Title: Carbon dioxide and energy flux measurements in four northern-boreal ecosystems at Pallas / Mika Aurela, and 5 others.
Author(s): Aurela, Mika.
Date: 2015.
In: Boreal Environment Research. (2015.), Vol. 20(4) (2015)
Abstract: Reports use of eddy covariance method to measure carbon dioxide (CO₂) and energy fluxes in four contrasting ecosystems within Pallas area of northern Finland: Kenttärove spruce forest, Lompolojänkkä wetland, treeless top of Sammaltunturi fell, and Pallasjärvi (lake). Finds clear differences between ecosystems in carbon and energy exchanges (both instantaneous fluxes and related longer-term balances). Available solar energy and its partitioning into sensible and latent heat fluxes differs markedly between sites.
