Abstract: | Present results of field surveys and excavations in Labrador, Newfoundland and Quebec Lower North Shore, as part of Arctic Studies Center's Arctic Crashes project. Field work focuses on harp seal (Pagophilus groenlandicus) biology and ecology and its influence on economy of Philip's Garden Dorset site at Port au Choix, one of largest Palaeoeskimo sites in North American eastern Arctic and sub-Arctic. |
