Uncertainty in mass-balance trends derived from altimetry: a case study along the EGIG line, central Greenland / Elizabeth Morris, Duncan J. Wingham.
Title: | Uncertainty in mass-balance trends derived from altimetry: a case study along the EGIG line, central Greenland / Elizabeth Morris, Duncan J. Wingham. |
Author(s): | Morris, Elizabeth. Wingham, Duncan J. |
Date: | 2015. |
In: | Journal of Glaciology. (2015.), Vol. 61(226) (2015) |
Abstract: | Uses repeated measurements of density profiles and surface elevation along 515 km traverse of Greenland Ice Sheet to determine elevation change rates and error in determining mass-balance trends from these rates which arises from short-term fluctuations in mass input, compaction and surface density. |
Notes: | Journal of Glaciology. Vol. 61(226) :345-356 (2015). |
