Record #213606:

On the interplay between the circulation in the surface and the intermediate layers of the Arctic Ocean / Camille Lique, Helen L. Johnson, Peter E.D. Davis.

Title: On the interplay between the circulation in the surface and the intermediate layers of the Arctic Ocean / Camille Lique, Helen L. Johnson, Peter E.D. Davis.
Author(s): Lique, Camille.
Johnson, Helen L.
Davis, Peter E. D.
Date: 2015.
In: Journal of Physical Oceanography. (2015.), Vol. 45(5) (2015)
Abstract: Reports development of simple idealised model to investigate interaction between circulation in two layers (surface layer and Atlantic Water (AW) layer) of Arctic Ocean. Model reveals that strength of circulation in surface and AW layers is linearly linked to ocean surface stress curl and inflow to Arctic Ocean basin, respectively.
