Abstract: Obituary, concentrating on Leah Otak's important work with Igoolik Research Centre and its Oral History Project archive. Her final project Inuit Kinship and Naming Customs was published in 2014. Otak also assisted in mounting international exhibitions concerned with Inuit culture, including British Museum's 2001 exhibition Annuraaq.
