Record #212980:

Field biogeochemical measurements in support of remote sensing signatures and characterization of permafrost terrain / Robyn A. Barbato, and 5 others.

Title: Field biogeochemical measurements in support of remote sensing signatures and characterization of permafrost terrain / Robyn A. Barbato, and 5 others.
Author(s): Barbato, Robyn A.
Date: 2015.
In: ERDC Technical Report. (2015.), TR-15-1 (2015)
Abstract: Presents information on plant canopy spectral reflectance, leaf-level gas and fluorescence, and soil conditions acquired along two transects near Fairbanks, Alaska, USA, using remote sensing and field observations. Investigates potential relationships between vegetative vigour and soil biochemistry in permafrost-affected areas for use in development of standoff sensors for mapping subsurface composition of permafrost terrains and to predict where and how thawing permafrost will alter soil ecology.
