Record #212879:
Distribution and interaction patterns of bacterial communities in an ornithogenic soil of Seymour Island, Antarctica / Pablo Henrique Rampelotto, and 6 others.
Title: | Distribution and interaction patterns of bacterial communities in an ornithogenic soil of Seymour Island, Antarctica / Pablo Henrique Rampelotto, and 6 others. |
Author(s): | Rampelotto, Pablo Henrique. |
Date: | 2015. |
Publisher: | New York, NY: Springer |
Abstract: | Presents results of analysis of soil bacterial communities from penguin rookery site at Seymour Island, eastern Antarctic Peninsula, with data on abundance, structure, diversity and interaction networks among various taxa in surface, middle and bottom layers. Results show that soil microbial network formed unusual clustered topology, with specific taxa identified as important players in microbial community structure. |
