Abstract: Describes Enceladus Explorer (EnEx) project, to devise technology suitable for mission to Saturn's moon Enceladus, and its goal, (and that of simultaneous Minimally Invasive Direct Glacial Exploration (MIDGE) project): to extract a clean sample from brine-filled fissure within Taylor Glacier, next to Blood Falls, where isolated subglacial lake sporadically produces minor outflow. Probe will be based on IceMole concept. Presents acoustic positioning system for probe, and discusses test outcomes in water and in field at Morteratschgletscher, Switzerland.
