Record #212620:

Characterizing the internal structure of laboratory ice samples with nuclear magnetic resonance / Timothy I. Brox, Mark L. Skidmore, Jennifer R. Brown.

Title: Characterizing the internal structure of laboratory ice samples with nuclear magnetic resonance / Timothy I. Brox, Mark L. Skidmore, Jennifer R. Brown.
Author(s): Brox, Timothy I.
Skidmore, Mark L.
Brown, Jennifer R.
Date: 2015.
In: Journal of Glaciology. (2015.), Vol. 61(225) (2015)
Abstract: Uses nuclear magnetic resonance measurements of diffusion and magnetic relaxation to study geometry and interconnectivity of liquid-filled network in laboratory ice, and its evolution due to recrystallisation processes. Applies measurements to observe impact on ice microstructure of ice-binding protein isolated from Vostok ice core in Antarctica.
