Record #212548:

Size and characteristics of the DOC pool in near surface subarctic mire permafrost as a potential source for nearby freshwaters / M.S. Thompson, and 3 others.

Title: Size and characteristics of the DOC pool in near surface subarctic mire permafrost as a potential source for nearby freshwaters / M.S. Thompson, and 3 others.
Author(s): Thompson, M. S.
Date: 2015.
In: Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research. (2015.), Vol. 47(1) (2015)
Abstract: Presents and discusses results of carbon-quantifying analyses of active-layer and near-surface permafrost soil cores from Stordalen and Storflaket mires in northern Sweden. Assesses concentrations of icebound and water-extractable dissolved organic carbon in permafrost to quantify leachable carbon pools.
