Abstract: Develops biophysically based, objective satellite seasonality observation method (BLOSSOM) for application over Canada's Arctic to overcome subjectivity in defining thresholds such as start or end of growing season and use of arbitrary filtering and smoothing algorithms to reduce noise. Applies method to three northern Canadian national parks.
