Abstract: Provides results of intercomparison exercise in which scientific community was asked to provide best surface elevation change (SEC) estimates for Jakobshaven Isbrae drainage basin, based on European Space Agency (ESA) remote sensing data, as part of Climate Change Initiative (CCI). Evaluates submissions against airborne laser-scanning data and compares ENVISAT radar and ICESat laser altimetry to determine potential for most accurate SEC estimates for Greenland Ice Sheet.
