Record #212252:

Evidence for non-tidal diurnal velocity variations of Helheim Glacier, east Greenland / J.L. Davis, and 4 others.

Title: Evidence for non-tidal diurnal velocity variations of Helheim Glacier, east Greenland / J.L. Davis, and 4 others.
Author(s): Davis, J. L.
Date: 2014.
In: Journal of Glaciology. (2014.), Vol. 60(224) (2014)
Abstract: Uses tide-gauge data from Helheim Glacier, east Greenland, and GPS data acquired on glacier to investigate spectra of tidal forcing and flow response using model. Postulates diurnal variations relating to increases in glacier bed lubrication due to surface heating and associated melting.
