| Abstract: | Determines glacier area changes between 1985, 2000 and 2011 for northern Patagonia; presents processing method that helps detect and remove seasonal snow with multi-temporal images; derives topographic parameters from digital elevation model for each glacier and analyses area changes according to parameters and location; and determines increase in area covered by proglacial lakes due to glacier retreat, and relationship to glacier and other characteristics. |
