Abstract: Describes recent laser scan surveys of shore-based whaling stations on South Georgia, Antarctica, in 2011-13 at Grytviken, Husvik, Leith and manager's villa at Stromness. Data resolution across each site averages 3 mm, allowing analysis of wide range of elements. In addition to recording and monitoring, datasets can be used to create accurate 3D virtual models for remote presentation and interpretation.
