Record #211768:

Lack of nuclear differentiation suggests reproductive connectivity between the "southern feeding group" and the larger population of eastern North Pacific gray whales, despite previous detection of mitochondrial differences / Anna M. d'Intino, and 3 others.

Title: Lack of nuclear differentiation suggests reproductive connectivity between the "southern feeding group" and the larger population of eastern North Pacific gray whales, despite previous detection of mitochondrial differences / Anna M. d'Intino, and 3 others.
Author(s): d'Intino, Anna M.
Date: 2013.
In: Journal of Cetacean Research and Management. (2013.), Vol. 13(2) (2013)
Abstract: Reports use of data from nuclear microsatellite loci to compare genetic data from individual gray whales (Eschrichtius robustus) of southern feeding group with samples obtained from representatives of larger population. Results suggest that eastern North Pacific gray whale should be regarded as one interbreeding population.
