Record #211105:

Sustained high basal motion of the Greenland ice sheet revealed by borehole deformation / Claudia Ryser, and 7 others.

Title: Sustained high basal motion of the Greenland ice sheet revealed by borehole deformation / Claudia Ryser, and 7 others.
Author(s): Ryser, Claudia.
Date: 2014.
In: Journal of Glaciology. (2014.), Vol. 60(222) (2014)
Abstract: Evaluates contribution of basal motion to dynamic behaviour of Greenland ice sheet from ice deformation measurements in boreholes drilled to ice sheet bed at two sites in western marginal zone. Uses 2-D ice flow model to investigate how bed topography and stress transfer affect ice deformation.
